INGREDIENTS
1 kg Chicken wings and drumstick
2 tsp Baking Powder
1/4 Salt
2 tsp Soy Saucer
1 tbsp water
1 tsp Apple Cider Vinegar
1 1/2 tbsp Honey
1 tbsp Chili paste
1 tsp Huy Fong Chili Sauce
1/4 tsp Ground ginger
1/2 tsp Sesame Oil
2 Cloves Garlic
Sesame - Garnish
Green Onions - Garnish
DIRECTIONS
Preheat the oven in 13 C
STEP 2
Set a wire rack inside of a foil-lined baking sheet. Spray rack with non stick cooking spray.
STEP 3
Pat the drumstick and wings part of the chicken with paper towel to dry well.
STEP 4
Add chicken, baking powder and salt to a large plastic bag. Seal it and shake it to coat chicken
Add the chicken to wire rack and bake it for 20 minutes
STEP 6
Increase oven temperature to 220 C and bake for another 30 minutes or until the chicken is golden brown
Whisk soy sauce, vinegar, honey, chili paste, chili sauce and ginger on a bowl
STEP 8
Add sesame oil to a small saucepan and place over medium heat.
STEP 9
Add garlic and saute for 30 seconds
STEP 10
Add in soy sauce mixture and simmer over medium-low heat for 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
STEP 11
Turn off heat but keep the sauce in the pan until the chicken is ready.
Place the chickens in a medium bowl, and add in the sauce. Mix well to coat evenly.
Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
